Waldschlösschen Dagobertshausen in Marburg

Good day to the chefs in the Waldschlösschen! Yesterday my wife and I had our 40th day to meet each other and were looking forward to a good lunch, good service and a familiar atmosphere. I said this to reception when I made the reservation. We were all the more astonished that a table was assigned to us, directly to the hallway to the toilets and other rooms. We were then relocated to a nice table. Since the female service was very friendly, we looked forward to the dishes we ordered. Neither matched the house or the price. - the red cabbage was badly heated in the microwave, but the color of it did not indicate freshness. -My game goulash a large portion was cooked to death because it was hard and dry, fibrous. - the sauce was at least good in taste. - that also applied to the two dumplings, which unfortunately were only warmed up. - my wife's noodles, certainly not homemade (!), were not in the water long enough, the porcini mushroom filling could be tasted / recognized as such, the spinach, on the other hand, was cold. We would have liked very much if the chef / chef had taken on the 10m and had an exchange of ideas. At Open Kitchen, the guest can easily count the number of cooks. No hustle and bustle was evident. No wonder see above. It's a shame, because we made the Waldschlössen palatable to some friends, so we'll tell about our failure. Since we were asked by email about our satisfaction, we are very curious about a response.

Very nice property with an excellent ambience and good food. In terms of quality, everything seems to be right here. Prices are a little higher than in other establishments, but in my opinion they are justified. The staff always tries to fulfill the wishes of the guest. The only drawback, the restaurant is just in the middle of nowhere.

Old half-timbered very nicely modernized. Small but very unusual menu, from oriental to home-style cooking. Very nice staff, good quality of the dishes.

We love coming here. We like the family atmosphere and the delicious, unusual dishes. In summer you can sit wonderfully in the garden. We particularly like the extensive wine list and the homemade ice cream. Another tip is the beef fillet or the roast beef. The restaurant is recommended for families.

After a long time we were there again. Nothing has changed in terms of the beautiful atmosphere and the good food. Unfortunately the service was underground. With only moderately occupied tables and a sufficient number of service staff, it took forever, despite repeated requests, until the order was taken. After the food was served glasses and cutlery were missing, so that the food was only eaten lukewarm. The Wiener Schnitzel with mashed potatoes and the cucumber salad was okay, the fish was unfortunately very dry, the risotto was still too firm. We had to wait forever for dessert and the bill. This can of course happen, but is unacceptable in view of the prices quoted there and the demands.

Wonderful location with a stylish outdoor area. Super nice staff, good compliance with the corona rules. Fine dining, which is also reflected in the price.

After a short break, we were there yesterday. Warmly welcomed by Korashy Saddik! He looked after and advised us perfectly and delighted my girlfriend with a Chateau Leoville Barton, 2002 cru classe Saint-Julien 🤩! The Aperatife (Pimm's Gin) a nice way to start the evening - accompanied by San Pellegrino! The starter was decorated with pickled tuna on a fine sauce. With the delicious Waldschlösschen bread, of course! Sonja-Maria enjoyed slices of Black Angus with rocket, pine nuts and half-dried tomatoes as the main course. I discovered pasta with chanterelles and fine parmesan on my plate. For dessert from our own Aroma ice cream factory, balls of Sicilian pistachio. The fine meal was rounded off by Nonino Amaro and an Auchentoshan single malt. Thank you Waldschlösschen! Thanks Korashy and the team - especially the chef! Karl-Stefan & Sonja-Maria.

A beautiful place. 4 stars for the sake of the old days. The schnitzel, which cost 24 euros, was last fried in oil, and I've never been there since.

Great garden, large playground, excellent food! Not cheap, but adequate for the quality.

Ridiculously expensive. Beware of the waiter recommended wines.... they don't mention the price, then u find you had a 60€ bottle of wine with your 20€ plate of pasta! No shame.

Very nice location, friendly and competent service and a kitchen that leaves nothing to be desired. The steak was world class! Thank you, we would love to come back.

Excellent ambience and if you come with children an experience because of the available swings, sandpit, slides and more equipment. The food was on the table in no time. The waiters are super friendly and courteous. My little dog even got a water bowl. Can only give this restaurant a mega recommendation.

The restaurant is a very nice one and the food is excellent too. Everything is clean, carefully decorated and nicely decorated. The service is very friendly and the food cannot be faulted either. It is just something for the well-heeled, because it also costs money accordingly. But it is definitely recommended and especially suitable for larger celebrations if you want to be sure of a nice and good location.

Very good german Restaurant. Many delicious options. We had a quite good starter: delicious mini burgers! Also, the atmosphere of the restaurant and the staff were nice. Btw, the deserts were also great. Well recommended for a special meal.

Warm ambience and great service. The steak was perfect. The potatoes were a bit too firm and the asparagus a bit too sweet. That's subjective, of course.

Nice food, good wine

Great place for family with young kids as they have a lovely playground right next to the outdoor dinning area. Prices are a little high but the venue is worth the extra expense.
